Zebra F. Ballpoint Pen Refills - 1.0mm (Medium)

The ZEBRA "F" ballpoint refill is available in blue and black ink, this refill width is 1.0mm (Medium), but can also be purchased in 0.7mm (Fine).

History:

Founded by Tokumatsu Ishikawa in 1914, the Zebra was trademarked by him as he wanted a buisness culure that resembed a family (in the same way Zebras are herd animals) and the way in which their stripes resemble calligraphy strokes. Due to allied bombing in WWII Zebra was reconstructed in the 1950's and just a year later Tokumatsu Ishikawa was honoured with Japans National Award for distinguished services to industry. Shortly after Zebra released their first ballpoint pen in 1959 and later renamed the company to "Zebra Co. Ltd" in 1963 where Hideaki Ishikawa became the companies presedent. Today Zebra is a well known brand globally and have now celebrated their 120th anniversary (2017) and sell a large range of writing implements including fountain, ballpoint, brush and gel pens. They also sell markers, highlighters and mechanical pencils.
